Our Story
ConnectMA was created to solve a simple problem: finding help in Massachusetts was too complicated. Whether you're looking for food assistance, housing support, healthcare, or any other service, it shouldn't take hours of searching to find what you need.
I built this platform because I saw people in my community struggling to navigate complex systems just to get basic help. Youth, immigrants, families, seniors - everyone deserves easy access to the resources available to them.
Today, ConnectMA provides 1,600+ verified resources across 26 categories, covering every region of Massachusetts. It's free, available in 7 languages, and designed to help you find what you need fast.
What makes ConnectMA different is that it's built by someone who understands the struggle firsthand. As a community worker, I've walked alongside people facing housing insecurity, food shortages, mental health challenges, and more. I know what it's like when you need help but don't know where to start.
This platform is more than a directory - it's a bridge between people who need support and the organizations ready to provide it. We partnered with Maya, our AI assistant, to make finding help as simple as having a conversation. She speaks your language, understands your needs, and connects you with the right resources instantly.
